Surgery Update

To all those watching the blog for an update on M's surgery, the procedure went well. Earlier this week, Grandpa Howie got us started praying for a miracle, which to me was a curious thing to ask for when you are going into a surgery that the doctor considers routine (as surgeries go); so by that you know I was on board. Well, during the last visit, Doc said her cleft was so large that he was not sure whether they would be able to close the whole thing, and this morning, he simply said, "We'll go as far as we can and then stop." But they were able to close the whole thing today, and that is specifically what we asked for. God be praised. --A. P.

M disapproves of having her blood pressure taken.

M recovers.
